CODE OF CONDUCT
Parents & Supporters Code of Conduct
The Keysborough Junior Football Club operate under the guidelines of the AFL-Kids First Program. Behaviour from parents and spectators is expected to be of the highest standards and fundamentally remember that we are all here for the enjoyment of our children.
-
Remember that children play sport for their enjoyment, not yours.
-
Focus on the child’s efforts and self-esteem rather than whether they win or lose.
-
Never ridicule or yell at a child for making a mistake or for the team losing a game.
-
Remember that children learn best by example – applaud the efforts of all players in both teams.
-
Support all efforts to remove verbal and physical abuse from sporting activities.
-
Consumption of alcohol is prohibited at all games.
-
Consumption of alcohol at functions should be moderated.
-
Intoxication and anti-social behaviour is unacceptable.
-
Show tolerance to all participants and spectators no matter race, religion and beliefs.
